Auria Appoints Tony Daines to Vice President of North American Sales to Drive New Growth Strategies in the Region

Southfield, Mich. (Aug. 11, 2022) – Auria is excited to announce that Tony Daines has joined the company as vice president of sales for North America. With full responsibility for the leadership and development of Auria’s North American business strategy, Daines will play a key role in meeting the company’s ambitious growth goals by expanding business with existing customers and pursuing opportunities with new customers in the rapidly evolving mobility space.

“Tony is an outstanding addition to the Auria team. He brings a wealth of sales and engineering leadership in the soft trim and acoustics space that will help us expand our customer portfolio and reach our ambitious growth goals,” said Brian Pour, CEO of Auria.

Daines joins Auria with more than 30 years of automotive supplier experience including several years in soft trim and acoustics products. Most recently, he served as senior sales director and platform director at Inteva since 2018, where he was instrumental in leading their electric vehicle customer strategy. Prior to that, he held various executive roles at international automotive companies such as Applied Acoustics International, Adler Pelzer Group and Lear Corporation.

A native of the U.K., Daines completed a mechanical engineering apprenticeship and attended the Open University in Essex, England where he earned a Master of Manufacturing Management and Technology. Tony began his career working in the U.K. and Germany. Since 1999 he has lived and worked in the U.S..
